Congratulations, Kaylee Ray, on your recent achievements!  Kaylee was State Vocal & Instrumental Winner of the Arkansas Freewill Baptist Convention. She competed in Louisville, Kentucky and she also is now the National Vocal Winner of the 2005 National Freewill Baptist Convention! She won singing a hymn medley, arranged and accompsnied on the paino by her mother, Jana Ray, of Kirby, Arkansas!  In addition, she also won another talent contest during the July 4th celebrations, singing "God Bless America.

Ashley Michelle Watson was crowned Miss Arkansas Sweetheart 2005 and will compete for the national title in July, 2005, in Nashville, Tennessee. Congratulations and good luck, Ashley!

Lindsey Wright has been busy this past year! She was the winner of the Arkansas Diamond State Choral Music Scholarship, the Arkansas Governor’s Scholar Award, and the Centerpoint Student Council Scholarship. In addition, she is the Future Business Leaders of Arkansas State Winner and the Future Business Leaders of America Top 15 National Winner!  Whew! Congratulations, Lindsey, as you make the move from home to Ouachita Baptist University this fall!

Congratulations to Kina’s students for making Top Five at the Miss Teen Arkansas pageant held in Hot Springs, Arkansas on July 2, 2005!  Lauren English (second from right), placed as 4th runner-up, singing “If I Can Dream”!  Julie Viala, Miss Teen National Park (Left), placed as 2nd runner-up, singing “For Once in My Life.”  Congratulations, Lauren and Julie!

Kina joined Jaclyn Bates, Miss Texarkana-Arkansas 2005, at the Miss Arkansas Pageant held in Hot Springs, Arkansas in June. Jaclyn performed “Can’t Help Lovin’ That Man of Mine” -- a performance that was mentioned as outstanding in the Hot Springs newspaper the following day! Great job, Jaclyn!

Kina also joined Margaret Edwards, Miss National Park, at the Miss Arkansas Pageant -- shown here with Jaclyn Bates, Miss Texarkana.  Margaret sang “A Piece of Sky” and did an excellent job!

Kina joined Jaclyn Bates, Miss Texarkana 2004-2005, at the Miss Texas Pageant held in Ft. Worth, Texas, in July, 2004!  Jaclyn was the recipient of the Alpha Community Service Award. She sang a medley from the musical “Thoroughly Modern Millie”.  Congratulations, Jaclyn!

Lindsey Wright won the title of Miss Teen Arkansas-America in June, 2003.  She has been a student for many years and a very close friend.  She sang “I am Changing” for her talent competition.  Congratulations, Lindsey!

Lindsey Wright and Kiley Wright won the Bob Evans Award at the Arkansas State Fair singing a vocal duet.  Both Lindsay and  Kiley are students of Kina’s.

Sarah French won the title of Miss Arkansas Teen USA® 2004 in November, 2003.  She was asked to be in the cast of the  Miss Teen Arkansas America pageant held in June of 2004.  Congratulations, Sarah, on your accomplishments!
